You won t gain weight with too many bananas if you maintain your energy balance. That being said, bananas have a high-calorie density as compared to other fruits and eating them on a regular basis can up your calorie intake and you thus end up gaining weight. According to HealthifyMe, one large banana contains around 120 calories. 
Increased rick of type Two Diabetes
Banana also has high sugar content and they have a glycemic index which is high enough to cause more fluctuations in your blood sugar levels. So eating a lot of bananas may put you at an elevated risk of type 2 diabetes. Very ripe bananas have a higher GI and consuming too many of them can contribute to health issues.
Nutrient deficiency
   If banana makes the bulk of your diet, you could suffer from nutrient deficiencies. Yes, bananas contain plentiful of beneficial nutrients they do not contain all the nutrients present in other fruits, vegetables and whole grains. So eating too many bananas could prevent you from achieving a healthy balanced diet.

A healthy adult can eat two cups of fruit daily which is equivalent to two bananas. Anything more than that can add extra calories to your diet.
